THE RESORT

Coquillade is a village steeped in the shifting hues of the Luberon, a plush cocoon of pure elegance and refinement, and your home away from home in Provence. Legend has it that the village center in this authentic Provençal hamlet was built in the 11th century by Cistercian monks from the Sénanque Abbey. Two hundred years on, and vines were planted here, the predecessor to our Aureto vineyard was born, and a couple of centuries later, a new story began...

A novel approach to a hotel, nestled in a village, tucked away in 42 hectares of vineyard, forestland, and olive tree and lavender fields, gazing out wistfully across the Parc National du Luberon.

Coquillade Provence has been a member of the Relais & Châteaux programme since 2010.

Founded in 1954, the association emerged when artistic couple Marcel and Nelly Tilloy decided to share their 'Route to Happiness', linking their establishment to seven others scattered across France. In doing so, they paved the way for what is now the world's most prestigious hospitality association.

Today, the association is world-renowned, and features a catalogue of over 580 incredible restaurants and hotels across all five continents.
