In the lavish nature of the Tuscan countryside, Dimora Ghirlandaio's magnificent hamlet has offered a setting of unparalleled beauty for centuries. Back in the 15th century, this place was the favourite residence of the "Ghirlandaio" artists. Such preference went from Domenico the father, one of the artists preferred by Lorenzo the Magnificent, who was Michelangelo's teacher from 1488, to Ridolfo the son, an artist particularly appreciated by Raffaello, whom he befriended.

Today, thanks to a recent renovation, the entire hamlet, including the Chapel of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary painted by Ridolfo Ghirlandaio, has been brought back to its ancient splendor.

Walking through the hamlet’s streets and paths surrounded by lush greenery, you can breathe the scents of the bushes of aromatic plants and delicate flowers. Characteristic corners and magnificent views open onto the surrounding hills, while centuries-old, tall trees offer shade and refreshment from the sun that lights up the countryside. A pool of crystal clear water in the middle of the park extends for 150 square meters providing a refreshing relaxation in the frame of an extraordinary landscape.
