Domaine de Verchant

This 5 star luxury hotel and spa contains 26 luxury bedrooms and apartments, and beautifully combines simple, stylish contemporary furniture with the charm and character of antique stone.The decoration of the Domaine de Verchant reflects the varied influences of Italian designers . Meanwhile, the facilities are resolutely geared towards the hi-tech, with ergonomic, top quality equipment.

To establish the European reputation of the farm and vineyard, 60,000 American vines were introduced to the 45-hectare VERCHANT vineyard, where today we still invite visitors to come and sample our vintage wines all year round.

Restaurant Verchant

The gourmet restaurant "Verchant" of the Domaine de Verchant with stunning views of the outdoor pool and grounds, come and discover the skills and creativity of our chef Jérôme Bartoletti. Choose from the seasonal menus created by our chef where the emphasis is on regional produce and enhanced by a warm, intimate atmosphere.

An absolute must for this charming oasis among the vines: an invitation to escape, relax and unwind... You will experience the pleasure of lazing in the sun, with Mediterranean scents wafting by... just 10 minutes from the city center protected from the urban bustle, a unique, exceptional place. The restaurant "la plage by Verchant" among the vines, seating 70, where you can sample cuisine with a southern French flair, at once refined and delicious. The relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere will relax and delight you.

The "La Plage y Verchant " bar, a concept combining: champagne, innovative cocktails, DJ, bands, tapas... a whole programme over the summer season. The whole beach team will be at your service to leave nothing to be desired, and to help you have a truly relaxing experience. The appealing 11 x 21 m swimming pool overlooking the vineyard and lined with sunbeds and deckchairs is conducive to that luxuriousness found on all the best beaches.

Spa

Located in the heart of a 17-hectare vineyard, Verchant le Spa is a private club covering 2000 m2, unique of its kind in Montpellier. Designed by Chantal and Pierre Mestre, this "place apart" is just like their hotel: a designer setting combining luxury and well-being, and a haven dedicated to care of mind and body alike (with Biologique Recherche and Valmont products).

Vineyard

At Verchant, with the long history of our estate behind us, we focus all our efforts on maintaining our wines and ensuring that they flourish. Surrounding the Château, the 17- hectare Verchant vineyard contains among others red Syrah and Grenache vines from the Mediterranean, and Merlot, Cabernet franc and Petit Verdot vines from Bordeaux. Throughout the estate, old vines rub shoulders with more recently planted ones, and we have adopted the double cordon "Royat" pruning associated with wooden post trellises.

Our sommelier welcomes you in the cellar to wine tasting and sales the different wines.
