Ferme Saint Simeon

Ferme Saint Simeonis a beautiful 17th century Norman house located on the heights of Honfleur, boasting a panoramic Seine Estuary view, whose lights fascinated the masters of impressionism.

Today, visitors can taste here the pleasures of life whilst gazing upon the estuary and the “Marvellous Clouds” that the Impressionists wanted to embrace.

Location

The historical center of Honfleur is only a few minutes walk from the hotel';s peaceful gardens. Only 2 hours drive from Paris.

The hotel is an ideal starting point to discover Normandy, take a tour to:

• the World War II D-Day beaches
• the Cider and local cheese routes
• Deauville, the famous cliffs of Etretat and the Mont Saint-Michel.

Rooms

The 35 rooms and suites are distributed between the Farm, main building and the Manor situated in the gardens of the Farm.

Each of them are different and yet they are all similar in several aspects. At the Ferme Saint Simeon, the rooms have been designed for your tranquility. High quality and warm materials, oak parquet flooring, old woodwork, sumptuous fabrics and a peaceful tone of grey... or fine amber marble that adorns the spacious bathrooms (some of them are equipped with steam shower and balneo bathtub). Here, in all our rooms wether standard, superior, luxury or suites, you will find the same intimate cocoon, enhanced by airy mansard architecture.

Gastronomic restaurant and the bistro "La Boucane"

In a decor that exudes absolute charm, between the old floor tiles, fireplace and view over the estuary or Pigeonnier, you can delight in all the treasures of the region at the gastronomic restaurant. Local and seasonal produce reinvented with respect by the chef. Sole with Bordier seaweed butter, lamb with hazelnut crust... or a revised version of the Tarte Tatin, with its 18 years of age Calvados sorbet.

The bistro "La Boucane", housed in a historic thatched-roof building, unveils a refined blend of modern style and traditional materials. The restaurant is laid out around a wood-fired oven directly open to the dining space. Its "à la carte" menu is based on local and organic products, with a focus on fish and seafood.

SPA - Under renovation until the end of 2023

In the fashion of the impressionists who came here to capture the light, we have selected for you a palette of beauty treatments inspired by Mother Nature. Poppies, raspberries and honey will awaken your senses throughout the seasons, illustrating the feeling of calmness and well-being that we cherish at the Ferme Saint Simeon. Our organic and seasonal care include a signature body treatment using apples, a reminder of our establishment's bond to the Pays d'Auge, a land bathed by the changing and invigorating light of the esturay. The aquatic area is under renovation until the end of 2023, but Lucille and her team, will welcome you in the gardens and in a specially dedicated treatment room.
